Welcome to Nursery’s Class page

We are very excited to be working with your child this year and hope that they enjoy the start of their school life journey.

This page will be updated with all of the busy things that we get up to including lots of photographs and celebrations of your child's  work.  Any important information that you need throughout the year will also be added.

Our class wish for 2017 is.....

"to continue to develop our friendships, as we support each other in our learning"

This half term, each class has chosen a wish that they would like to see acted out in their class.

This means that we all get along with each other in Nursery, and help each other with learning new skills.

Each week, a child will be chosen who we feel has shown that they have been helping to make the wish come true by their words and actions. The chosen child will win 10 house points for their house team.

Week 1 -

Seena was chosen because, she suggested many ways in which you could be a  good friend when reading the story of the rainbow fish. Seena has helped her friends with their learning many times this week including helping them to thread the beads.

Settling into Nursery

Marking 100 years since the birth of Roald Dahl – the world’s number one storyteller.

13th September 2016 marked the biggest ever global celebration of Roald Dahl's birthday. Nursery celebrated the day by looking at one of Roald Dahl's incredible stories 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. Each child made a chocolate crispy cake and decorated with lots of yummy treats. We made Golden Tickets and marvellous marble paintings, representing everlasting gobstoppers.
