Week 1 - WC: Monday 2nd November 2020
Phonics review - an added extra!
If you have time this week or throughout this half-term, perhaps you could use the powerpoint/pictures below to practise all the sounds we have learned so far. Use your robot arms to practise saying the sounds and then blending them together to say each word. Maybe you could have a go at writing the words too.
Phonics activity mat - linked to the sounds below
1. Can you fill in the missing sounds - just add 'qu' or 'ch'
2. Use your robot arms to read each word.
3. Have a look at each picture. Can you use the words you have read to write the correct word next to each picture?
There is Microsoft word document of this task below that you can download if this is easier.
If you have time, maybe you could have a go at writing this week's sounds.
Have a look below to see how to write each letter.
This week I would like you to practise writing your numbers from 0 - 10 really carefully. Make sure that the numbers are the right way round. Use the number formation mat below to help you. If you can do this, perhaps you could write numbers all the way to 20. You could practise counting from 0 to 20 and then practise counting backwards too - 20 to 0.
There will be a new Maths activity mat for next week's homework.
