Class Wish Award

Year 5 Class Wish Award

When we had transition day, the children generated some wonderful ideas about what they wanted our class wish to be this year.  In fact, there were too many to make one sentence so we have combined them under one simple message to 'always work as a team because Together Everyone Achieves More.'

Each half term, as a class, we will nominate someone who we believe has fulfilled our class wish and they will be given the 'Class Wish Award'.

Spring 2: Seena

'Together everyone achieves more' and our class wish luminary for the second spring term certainly helps bring the year 5 team together. We are delighted to give Seena the class wish luminary for this half term. She really is a joy to have in our class and gives 100% to everything she does. Seena will go above and beyond for her friends and teachers alike. She has a fantastic attitude towards her own learning and that of others. We are incredibly proud to have Seena in year 5 as she definitely lights the way, not only in our classroom but the whole school. Well done Seena.

Spring 1: Sophie

Our class wish luminary for this half term is the wonderful Sophie.

We have chosen Sophie as our class wish luminary for this half term as she is the perfect example of someone who works well as a team.  Sophie has a truly fantastic attitude to every aspect of her learning, and this shines out to others.  She is a wonderful role model to other children, both inside the classroom and in the playground and can always be relied upon to offer someone help or guidance.  She really does light the way and we are very proud of her.  Well done, Sophie!

Autumn 2: Leo

Our Class Wish Luminary for this half term is the fantastic Leo.

We have all been really impressed with Leo's attitude, both in terms of his learning and his attitude towards his friends.  He is a shining example of someone who works well as a team and is an excellent role model for the rest of the class.  He works hard in all of his lessons, and this has been clearly evident in the results he has achieved in assessments this half term.  Leo always has a smile on his face, especially when we are doing anything active, and we see him motivating those around him all the time.  We are delighted to award him with the class wish award for this half term.  Well done Leo!

Autumn 1... Noah

Our class wish is to work as a team because Together Everyone Achieves More and we think that Noah is a shining example of this class wish.  He has embraced everything that Year 5 has presented him with so far this year and always thinks of others.  He can regularly be seen helping others, particularly in the more practical lessons where he shows great patience and care.  It is wonderful to recognise Noah's team ethos and he is a fantastic role model for others in the class.  Well done Noah!
