Good morning from me!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Well done and congratulations on reaching the end of the second week of lockdown.  You've been working brilliantly so please make sure you rest over the weekend.

Today is TEST day so please take a look in your files for my spelling test video and aim for 10/10 and then do your Big Maths test online.  You're continuing with fractions in Maths and have a Grammar lesson in English today.

Have a great day Year 5 and a wonderful weekend!

STITCH HEAD CHAPTER 1

Monday's English lesson will focus around Chapter 1 of Stitch Head.  It would be a good idea to use the weekend to read this chapter so that you don't have to do the reading and the work on Monday.  Please click on the PDF below to read the text.

It's a great book so I know you're going to love it!

FRIDAY'S COLLECTIVE WORSHIP

As we come to the end of the second week of lockdown, we turn our thoughts and prayers to all those people who have been and continue to be affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.  We think of all those people who may be ill or who are looking after these people.  Take some time to spend a few moments in quiet and read the CAFOD prayer below.

PE AT HOME... FOR THE WEEKEND

It's the weekend!

Congratulations for completing week 2 of lockdown.  I have been really impressed by the work you have submitted to me and it's lovely knowing that you are all trying to work hard, even though you're not in school.

Please try to go on to Read Theory this weekend.  You were ALL able to do this before lockdown so should be able to continue this.

If you want any other things to do, i've found some resources below that could keep you occupied if you want.  I am not setting these as work, you do not have to look at them and I don't expect any work to be submitted but they are there if you need them!
