Please open the documents below to find answers to yesterday's basic skills and Maths worksheet. Use the answers to mark your work and see what you got correct.

Good morning Year 4! I hope you are all safe and well. Thank you to those of you who have been posting on the blog and emailing me your work. Don't forget to do the same today.

Today's answers for basic skills and the Maths worksheet will be uploaded to the bottom of this page for you to mark your work as it is the weekend tomorrow.

As today is Friday, you will need to do your CLIC test on the Big Maths website (you should all have your login details by now but if you don't, please email me at and I'll send them to you) and your spelling test by clicking on the link below. I will be announcing the new members of the Big 10 Club today at 2pm so please ensure you have done both your tests by 1pm.

I hope you have a great Friday.

Best wishes,

Miss Elliott blush

Here are today's Maths and SPaG 5-a-day tasks. Please find the answers at the bottom of this page to mark your work once you are finished.

Please open the link below to take your spelling test. I am aware that J2Blast wasn't effective for taking the spelling test so I have created a multiple choice questionnaire on Microsoft Forms instead. You will need to write your name in the first box so that I know who's test it is. Please make sure that you write your name in the first answer box so that I know who has taken the test.

Please complete your CLIC and Learn It's! test by visiting the Big Maths website or clicking here.

Today in Maths, we are going to be revising how to divide a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number. Please click here to watch the video before you complete the worksheet below.

Today in English, we are going to be developing our understanding of simple, compound and complex sentences. Please click here to start the lesson.

Today, we are going to reflect on God's promise and the significance of rainbows. Your task is to find/write a promise for every colour of the rainbow. Open the PDF document below to start the lesson and print off the rainbow template to complete the task. This is a great chance to be creative through prayer and I would love to see what you come up with so please post your finished work on the blog!

I know how much you all enjoyed listening to Michael Rosen's Chocolate Cake video a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd show you another of his stories narrated by him. So... get a drink and a snack (or your lunch), sit back and watch  Clever Cakes by Little Angel Puppet Theatre and Michael Rosen!

That marks the end of another week of home learning. Well done, Year 4 - you've smashed it!

Now for a well-deserved rest. Make sure you relax lots and try and get out when you can.

See you Monday!
