Re-tell the story together using the story map you made yesterday. Task – See if your child can retell some or all of the story using themselves using the story map.
Using the number cards from earlier in the week turn them face down. Ask your child to turn over one card and see if they can name the numeral. If they get it right they can keep it. You could take this in turns giving some correct and some incorrect answers to see if they spot them. You could also ask them to turn over a number and then hold up the same amount of fingers.
