FRIDAY 5TH FEBRUARY
GOOD MORNING FROM ME!
Happy Friday Year 5,
Well done for reaching the end of another week of lockdown home learning. I'm sure you all must be really tired at the moment and will be very glad that the weekend has arrived. My final recommendation for 'Mental Health Week' is therefore to... sleep! It's necessary for a healthy body and mind so I've found a sleep meditation that might help you. I've been using meditation music more for when I go to sleep so I hope you'll find it beneficial.
Today you'll continue working on line graphs, will listen to a Kelly Clarkson song in English and then you have 'Free Choice Friday' where you can choose what you do this afternoon.
It's 'Star of the Week' day so please have a look at the video, then don't forget to listen to the spellings video and do your Big Maths test!
Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!
TIME FOR YOU
Well done, you've reached the end of the day. Congratulations for finishing your work so now it's time to have a bit of time for yourself.
Grab yourself a drink, sit down and listen to Chapter 5 of 'The Last Wild' by Piers Torday.

CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH WEEK
Today, I'd like you to sleep - just make sure you do it after your work!
You may wonder why I'm suggesting that you sleep for mental health week but sleep is actually a really important part of your day. Not only does it help your body rest but it also helps your mind to rest too. I've put a sleep meditation for you to listen to so that you can drift off into a wonderfully, relaxing sleep ready for the weekend. So sleep, restore and rejuvinate Year 5!
