Home learning resources
Every morning in Nursery we start the day by singing the "Days of the week" and weather song and discussing which day it is and what the weather is like. This might be a nice thing to do each morning to keep a bit of routine for your child.
Please bear in mind that I would only expect the children to focus on taught learning for around 15 minutes at a time so try not to expect your child to concentrate for too long on a task.
Some key things I would recommend trying to do each day include:
- Counting to twenty. Counting aloud, counting objects, looking at numerals.
- Reading and discussing a story
- A writing or drawing activity.
