Each Tuesday and Wednesday, our Year 6 team spends time in the library with children from Years 1 - 6 to look at stories from the Bible and explore the Wednesday Word in more detail.  The team is made up of our Head Boy, Head Girls, House Captains and Head Librarians.

Tuesday Bible Stories

During the Tuesday Bible story sessions, the team choose a different Bible story to look at and use the channel 'Joyful Tales with Ella and Manny' as their starting point.  This YouTube channel has been created by one of our children and his sister (a former pupil) so it is wonderful to be able to put their talents to good use and showcase their skills in being able to deliver the stories in a beautiful way.

Wednesday Word sessions

Each Wednesday, the team use the Wednesday Word as their inspiration for the library session.  They look closely at the gospel reading for that week, explore the prayers and the word of the week, along with completing the activities with the children.
