Maths (4th-18th January 2023) we have been looking at our coins and notes. We have especially enjoyed working out change!
8th and 9th December 2022 - We have been making a moving part monster in DT. We have investigated linkages and followed instructions to create the body of a monster.

28th November - 7th December 2022 we have been looking at materials. We have considered solids and liquids as well as whether you can bend, stretch, twist or squash a solid.
24.11.22 - Let all creatin sing! Whole school retreat day. We looked at St Francis of Assisi and Brother Sun in Y2. We had a fantastic day.
17.11.22 - Forest School (Week 2). Wet! Wet! Wet! We had amazing fun in the mud.
RSHE - on Thursday we looked at growth mindset and how we have to 'try, try and try again' even when something first appear hard. We did some challenges to build towers with bricks and cards in a time limit. Great fun was had by all...
16.11.22 Collective Worship - We have visited the memorial garden and said 'The Eternal Rest' prayer for all our family members who have died. We looked at the names on the poppies of family members of our Year 2 children.
ICT - We have looked at being safe on the internet and not talking to people we don't know. We have learnt to always tell a trusted adult if we are worried.
Samaritan Shoe Boxes - We have made some Christmas gift boxes to help others who are less fortunate that us. God asks us to love one another.
Forest School (10th November2022). We thank God for His creation. We made dens for God's creatures.
Music - We have been looking at the different families in an orchestra. This is us making a string instrument (1-8th November 2022)
PSHE - We looked at the story of 'Sudden Hill' by Linda Sarah & Benji Davies and how new friends can make us feel towards old friendships.
