A Message from Miss Murphy...
Good morning Year One and welcome to the last and final week before half term! I hope you had a restful weekend and we only have a few more days of learning to go before you can have a whole week off! Make sure you keep working hard for the next few days and putting all your fantastic work on the blog so that I can see it and give you feedback. Before we break up we have a fantastic week ahead for you. E Safety Day is on Tuesday 9th February and we are having a 'No Screen Friday' at the end of this week. There will be lots of free resources, activities and lessons on the class page for these days so keep your eyes peeled!
My weekly loom video is below which has all of your learning on for this week but I must apologise- I have had problems with using Loom and my camera so you can-not see my face at the bottom of the video. I am working to get this sorted and hopefully when I record my next video after half term you will be able to see me again!
Today you are starting a new topic of Fractions in Maths, are learning about Football for your Reading Lessons and are continuing with focusing on The Story of The Lost Sheep for RE. There is also a Liturgical Assembly for you to watch and which will help you start your week of in the best way!

Beat That and CLIC Tests
Please click on the PDF below and find the Beat That and CLIC Tests with your name on.( There should be 2 tests each.) Please print, practise and complete at home each day Monday- Thursday. You can then do your final online test on Friday morning. Please do NOT do your online test until FRIDAY MORNING so I can then see the final test results for everyone after you have practised. Your online Big Maths test should be your final test score and should be done at the end of the week.

Read the PPT document below and the story of The Lost Sheep below. The Story is in a PDF format that you can read along with the pictures on the PPT. Then think about how the message of this story- what is Jesus telling us? Read through the PPT and then write 5 sentences about what the message of the story is and draw some beautiful pictures to go with your work.

This is your daily reminder to have a break from your work and to keep healthy and active! You need your exercise so make sure you now run around your garden for 15 minutes or go on a 30 minute walk.
