Whilst we are away from school, we have lots of websites that you can be using to keep your brains active!
This is a great way to use ICT to learn and develop!
Each image below contains a hyperlink that you can use to take you directly to the website needed.
You all have these login details stuck into your home-reading diaries and should be playing daily to rehearse your multiplications recall.
We have been given free access to this whilst school is closed so now is the time to make the most of this privildege!
Use this site to rehearse addition and subtraction facts.
The faster you are, the more coins you will earn!
To access this site, use the SAME login details as TTRS!
Active Learn is an online reading resource where you can read a range of fantastic e-books and answer comprehension questions about the text. This is great for ALL of you, but especially important for those of you who know that reading was one of your main target areas from our parents' meeting.
If you weren't in school during the last week and did not receive your log in details, please email SchoolY5@olstrose.bham.sch.uk and I will do our very best to get them to you quickly.
BGFL is the home of MANY educational resources! But, you may be especially interested in the Y5 Blog Page where we are encouraging everyone to add photos, videos and comments to help us all communicate during our time away from the classroom. We already have a few videos and photos for you to check out!
Again, if you weren't in school during the last week and did not receive your log in details, please email SchoolY5@olstrose.bham.sch.uk and I will do our very best to get them to you quickly.
As well as subscriptions that school pays access for, there are also free games and websites that we think are excellent too!
Here are some links for BBC Bitesize that we have enjoyed using in class...
Another free excellent resource that we have found is Oxford Owl.
Here you will find e-books, games and videos to help you.
Of course, we understand that not everyone can access online tools all of the time! Especially if you have parents working at home or if you have to share with your brothers and sisters.
You can find a pack to download and print on the 'Home-learning Activity Pack' logo on the main Class Page if you would like it.
