Star of the Week

Friday 15th October

This week's Star of the Week is Maisey!

Year 6 have been swimming every day this week and after initially being quite anxious about just getting in the water, Maisey (in just three days) has not only moved up groups, lost her arm bands but is now swimming confidently on her front and back back and forth across the width of the pool!

We are extremely proud of your resilience and determination, Maisey! Well done!

Friday 8th October!

This week's Star of the Week is for the brilliant Gibril!

Gibril has been an amazing member of Y6 this week as we welcomed a new student into our class.  I gave Gibril the duty to buddy up with our new child and ensure that he feels welcome, knows the rules and routines and to just be there when he is needed.  My goodness, Gibril went above and beyond in his duty to welcome our new friend!! Helping in every way he possibly can, in lesson time and play time and ensuring that our newest member of the class felt welcome and comfortable.  Thank you for being just a truly wonderful boy, Gibril. Well done!

This week's Star of the Week is for the wonderful Jamie!

Week after week has been impressing more and more.  Hard working in every lesson, asking good purposeful questions and behaving brilliantly.  This week in particular, he has also shown his kindness side, looking after his classmates and ensuring they are happy and taking every opportunity to let me know when someone else has done something really well.

Very proud of you, Jamie!

This week's Star of the Week is for the fabulous Katie!

Not only is Katie a great role model, her attitude to her work is outstanding and she leads the way forward for the rest of the class with her amazing behaviour.  In addition to this, she has led the way with her Go Read online reading journey, logging on regularly and writing detailed thoughtful reviews!

Very proud of you Katie!

This week's Star of the Week goes to the wonderful Roisin!

She has had a fantastic start to Year 6 and has worked very hard in all lessons. She has demonstrated maturity and kindness and is a great role model.

Well done Roisin!
