Star of the week

STAR OF THE WEEK!

Every Friday Mrs Finnegan and I shall choose a child who has been a superstar for the week and they shall be rewarded with Star of the week!

How can you be a star of the week?

There are lots of different ways that your child can be a star of the week, here are a few examples:

  • following our class rules and being kind to one another
  • showing determination in all they do and using their 'can do' attitude towards tricky tasks
  • helping others and supporting one another
  • going above and beyond in their work

PLUS many more!

18.11.22 - Our star of the week this week goes to Jacob for his excellent efforts in Maths. He has worked so hard to focus on his addition and subtraction skills, including renaming and exchanging and this has helped him in his math's activities. Well done Jacob, keep up the great work!

04.11.22 - Our star of the week this week goes to Isabella for her continued hard work in class. Isabella strives to get involved in class through class discussions and her work is completed to a high standard. Well done Isabella on being a superstar - keep up the great work!

21.10.22 - Our star of the week this week goes to Soella for fantastic enthusiasm and engagement to her learning. Soela has been working very hard and has been completing extra tasks at home which means she has gone above and beyond. Well done Soella - keep up the great work!

14.10.22 - Our star of the week this week was chosen by the lunchtime supervisors and they chose Ebony for her kind and caring nature. Ebony was chosen because she was kind to her friends and shares at lunchtimes. Well done Ebony - keep up the great work!

07.10.22 - Our star of the week this week is Blaine for being voted, by his classmates, as the most loving and compassionate member of Year 3. Blaine has only just joined Year 3 but has made a big impression on the children. Well done for following our Catholic Virtues of Loving and Compassionate.

Here are some of the things that were said about Blaine:

"Blaine shares with others"

"Blaine helps other people"

"Blaine is a nice friend"

Well done Blaine, keep up the great work!

30.09.22 - Our star of the week this week goes to Emilia for her hard work in her handwriting and presentation in her books. Emilia works hard to make sure her writing is neat and that she produces good quality work. She has also achieved star of the week this week because she has listened to the feedback from adults regarding her presentation and has acted upon this. Well done Emilia, keep up the great work!

23.09.22 - Our star of the week this week goes to Gia for fantastic presentation in her work. Gia has tried hard to make sure that her writing is neat and that it meets the classroom expectations. As a result of this Gia also achieved a Maths Presentation Award because of her hard work in her maths journal. Well done Gia - keep up the great work!

16.09.22 - Our star of the week this week goes to Riley for his hard work in class especially in Maths and English. He has shone with enthusiasm for his learning and has been trying hard to extend his learning with extra activities. Well done Riley - keep up the great work!
