Each week, I will be picking a member of Year One who has truly impressed Miss Plant and myself in class and at school. I will be picking a star each week who has truly shone bright in the classroom so make sure you check this page each Friday to find out who our bright, shining star is. The child will also be receiving a certificate which they can take home once their week as the star has ended.

Autumn 1

Emma- Mine and Miss Plant's first star of the week is Emma. This is because of her beautiful handwriting and presentation skills which is Mr Carroll's target this week. Her handwriting blew me away!

Jayden- Mine and Miss Plants star of the week is Jayden. This is because of his super effort in Maths and also had shown determination to try and complete the extension activity.

This week's star of the week was chosen by Miss Plant and it goes to Riley! This was because of his progress in phonics and showing all the class how much of a good friend he is not only at playtime but in our classroom!
