Thursday 11th Feb

                                      Thursday 11th February

Message from Dr Gould

Hello Year 2. Today is a very special day. It is the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. This is when Our Lady appeared to St Bernadette in France. I love the story so much that when I was confirmed I took St Bernadette as my saints name. If you want to read the story then click on the picture above. I would love to see some work on Lourdes so if you want a challenge why don't you draw a picture and add any facts you can find out?

How are you feeling learning on line?

Mr Carroll has asked for you to complete the survey as to how you are feeling about remote learning. To complete the survey then click on the link

All answers must be completed by Monday (the same day as your parents have been asked to respond to theirs). Let me know if you have completed the survey.

Have a good Thursday.

For the children in blue group and who do Direct Instruction with Mrs Woodley.

Today's sound is er.

This week you are looking at non fiction reading. We are concentrating on various celebrations around the world as Friday is Chinese New Year. There are challenge questions to complete.

Today's lesson looks at the Baptism ceremony in Church. You will look at the symbols for Baptism and what they represent.

 Story Time

As recommended by Grace as a good story. Let us all read it aloud. Any other recommendations for next half term would be greatly appreciated.
