Good morning from me!
Happy Thursday Year 5!
It was lovely chatting to some of your parents and, luckily for me, some of you yesterday. It was wonderful to hear your voices and listen to how hard you're working. I've left some messages for parents and will be making different calls next week so keep up the hard work.
Did you hear the news about Mount Etna? As we loved volcanoes so much, it might be worth having a look to see what has happened... as a Geographer, I was very excited!
Today, is your penultimate lesson on fractions, you'll read another piece of text from Kate Dicamillo and will explor solar and lunar eclipses in your Science lesson.
Don't forget to practise your spellings and work on the questions you may have been getting wrong in Big Maths, ready for TEST day tomorrow.
SPACE WEEK ON CBEEBIES
At the same time that you begin a new Science topic on Space this week, CBeebies are also having a Space Week in conjunction with the National Space Centre. Each day, they have different programmes that you might want to access to extend your learning on Space. I know it's CBeebies, so some of it may be a bit young for you, but it's worth checking out just in case.
Today it's the Space Robots with Maddie Moate at 4.50pm. Click here to watch it.
