GOOD MORNING FROM ME!
Happy Thursday Year 5,
You're almost through your first week back after half term - how quickly is this week flying by?
I realised today that, this time 13 years ago, I was sat in the middle of the Sahara Desert ready to start at 110km trek for Macmillan Cancer Support. When we talk about time flying, I find it hard to believe that my trek took place 13 years ago as it seems like only yesterday. I thought this was particularly appropriate given you have started learning about different biomes in your Geography lessons. A truly magical experience and one which I will always cherish forever. If, as you get older, you ever get the chance to take on a challenge or experience like that, I can highly recommend it. Anyway, less of my reminiscing!
Today, you're continuing your work on area in Maths, you'll be looking at the final book of Frank Cottrell Boyce in reading, exploring more Wizardy writing and finding all about the universe in Science.
Have a great day Year 5!
TIME FOR YOU
Well done, you've reached the end of the day. Congratulations for finishing your work.
Now it's time to relax, grab yourself a drink and listen to the next chapter of Piers Torday's book,
'The Last Wild' : Chapter 12
