Message from Dr Gould
Good Morning Year 2,
Well it is finally here! World Book Day where we will all be reading a story and you have all the fun of guessing which teacher it is. Please click on the link above. Send in the answers as to your guess and then enjoy the day. All the information is on the Loom video on the WBD page. Don't forget, though, to complete the day's tasks (as normal) but also to have a go at some of the activities suggested. I can't wait to see your answers. Have a great time... I am definitely one of the readers but which one?
This week we are learning about Captain Cook.
This week we are looking at rainbows. This is how they are made, how they are seen in the world and what the rainbow is used as a symbol for. With the reading click on the symbol above to hear the words.
Today you are going to complete a lenten promise card.
World Book Day - Story Time
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
The Museums are really missing face to face encounters with schools groups and family visitors. So for World Book Day they have recorded one of their favourite stories, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and would like to share this with you. It's lovely... so enjoy watching.
