Literacy
Re-read the story using the actions you created yesterday.
Task – Cut out the puppets below. You might want to back them with cardboard to make them more robust. Then act out the story using the puppets. Try and include the repeated lines, “Run, run, as fast as you can. You can’t catch me. I’m the gingerbread man.”
Maths
Tuesday
You might like to recap the numerals to five using flashcards. You could see how quickly your child could identify the numeral or turn cards over and keep them if they get the number right. Below are a range of games to help counting and numeral recognition skills. We sometimes play these in class and the children love them.

Phonics activities
This week’s focus is being able to discriminate between different sound you can hear in the environment. Choose one of the activities from the sound discrimination home learning sheet each day.
Afternoon activities
Look through the PowerPoint slides about Baptism and discuss them.
Task – Create a collage of all your family and friends as they are all part of the family of God which we join through Baptism. It would be great to see some photos of these on the blog!
