Message from Dr Gould
So this Thursday is World Book Day and today (Tuesday 2nd March) is Dr. Suess Day in America. This is the day where all the children in America remember one of their most famous authors. You may have read his book 'Cat in the Hat' or even seen the film? Today's end of day read along is the 'Cat in the Hat' by Dr. Suess as it is so silly. It really gets us in the mood for Thursday's special day. Enjoy the day and feel free to have a go at drawing the cat in the hat!
For the children in blue group and who do Direct Instruction with Mrs Woodley.
Today's sound is igh.
This week we are learning about Captain Cook.
This week we are looking at rainbows. This is how they are made, how they are seen in the world and what the rainbow is used as a symbol for. With the reading click on the symbol above to hear the words.
Today we are looking at what a habitat is. We then look at food chains and you will draw some food chains. You need to have the task sheet throughout the lesson to complete as you go along.
End of Day Story
This is the Dr Suess story. It's VERY silly! Enjoy together and read along.
World Book Day
Don't forget it's World Book Day in two days time. I wonder if you will guess which masked teacher is me? Don't forget the Art lesson links too.
