Please try and post on the class blog at least once a week, if not more, so I can see how the children are doing. It means I can write the children a little message to encourage them. You will need your BGfL log in details for this.

Re-read the story and then either draw a story map of your own or cut and stick the pictures into the one provided. 


You could use any sort of blocks to build the tallest tower that you can. Decide whether or not it is taller than anyone in the room and discuss how to reach the top of the tower. You could go for a 'tall walk'. Take photographs of tall buildings and cranes and compare them when you get home. Which one do you think is the tallest?

Phonics task


This lesson is all about recognising a local sculpture. Look through the powerpoint together and then draw your own version of a sculpture from Birmingham. I would love to see some pictures of these of the blog.
