Welcome to Year 4's class page! We hope that your children are just as excited as we are for the year ahead. Any information to do with Year 4 will be regularly uploaded to this page so we hope that you find everything you need. 7th October -
Your child should have returned home with a newsletter today explaining about Harvest Festival next week. We are asking for a donation of any dried food that is long lasting and can be provided to those in great need. Here is a list of the most useful food items that the food bank are asking for:
- tinned vegetables
- tinned tomatoes
- spreads (marmite, jam, etc.)
- tinned desserts
- breakfast cereal
- canned ready meals
- pasta sauces
Please bring any food donations in by Thursday 14th October 2021.
27th September -
WEAR GREEN FOR MACMILLAN
This Friday (1st October), we will be showing our support for Macmillan Cancer Trust by wearing green. Please send your child(ren) in with £1 if they are participating to raise money for the fantastic charity.
20th September -
School photographs will be taking place today so please ensure that your child is smart and wearing the correct uniform. Individual and family photos with siblings will be taken.

THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK...
Homework books have been sent home today with this week's spellings and the weekly home learning challenge to be completed for Thursday, which is to read or watch the news and make notes on something interesting that you have learnt. Please be reminded that homework must be returned and completed by Thursday, failure to do this could result in 1 red house point.

HOUSE POINT LOGO COMPETITION!
The school is having a re-design of the House Team Logos and would like YOU to help come up with some designs! The designs should reflect the names of the saints, ideals and messages of the saints and which patron saint they are.

Homework books have been sent home today with next week's spellings. This week's homework task is the Catholic Virtues challenge to write a prayer to God about being Eloquent and Truthful, which are our catholic virtues for this half term. This should be completed and returned by Thursday so that it can be marked ready for Friday when next week's homework will be sent out.
