Light
Our science focus this term has been light. The children wowed Ms Elsby-Arnold with their understanding and conducted their own experiments to test the hypothesis that "shadows are the same shape as the object that made them."

Retreat Day
We had the privilege of taking part in another wonderful retreat day with Dan and Emily from One Life Music. The children love these days and it's great to be able to take some time away from the hustle and bustle of school life to reflect on who we want to become. The retreat this year focused on the fact it is a year of jubilee with the theme being pilgrims of hope. We took part in whole school reflections, wrote our own prayers, learnt new music and some of our class even lead the whole school prayer service at the end of the day.

Dance
In PE this term, Year Six have been learning all about dance. They have learnt a range of styles and techniques such as lifts and freezes.

Prayer Buddies
Year 6 had a wonderful time with their Year Two prayer buddies. Together they discussed ways in which they could follow in Jesus' footsteps and used the younger children's ideas to write prayers. At the end of the session we had a prayer service where they shared their prayers.
