Mission Statement Luminary
Year 5 Mission Statement Luminary Award
Each half term, as a class, the children nominate who they think has been a living example of our mission statement, 'Learning, Living, Loving together in Christ.' They think carefully about each member, and give examples of how they have been a shining example of each part of the statement.
These children are then celebrated in assembly.
Autumn 1
Our Mission Statement Luminary for Autumn 1 is Nicholas. The children overwhelmingly nominated him as someone who demonstrates our mission statement on a daily basis. Here are some of the reasons they gave:
Learning together in Christ
He is very intelligent and is the person that I always want to play with.
He shows no sign of messing about and he also is attentive when the teacher is speaking.
He is a really compassionate person and he always helps me when I'm stuck on a question also he is very kind
He invites people who don't have any one to play with, he will always ask if you're interested with the game and would help you if you ever fall down.
He always tell people they can play even if there is too much people he still does not want people to be left out.
He helps me in computing when it is super tricky and is an expert on computers.
He listens to the teachers and he focuses on his work
He always puts his hand up and he wants everyone to be happy
He wrote a canticle and it was lovely.
Living together in Christ
He is compassionate and caring
He always want to keep everyone happy and cares for God's world
He likes helping people and he's very kind
He goes to church with us and he will always help or play with you
He always gets his work done and does around a page every single time when we do a lesson.
He helps me when I am lonely or sad.
He learns about Jesus and loves doing it
In the cake festival he gave his 50p to his brother
He is nice to everyone
Loving together in Christ
He shows that he cares for people and wants to be everyone's friend.
He always includes people in his games like stuck in the mud .
He's very loving to anyone in the class and is also very helpful
He talks positively and he's not rude to people.
In the playground he is never ever bossy and is the opposite he also says are you OK when people fall down and help them.
He cares for everyone and includes anyone who is left out.
He loves and cares about everyone and he uses kind words.
He invited me to play with him in his games
