Autumn 1 Week 7

Our star of the week this week is the compassionate... Constance

This week, our star of the week focus has been someone who demonstrates kindness all the time… and Constance has this in abundance.  She is a fabulous girl, who has a heart of gold, and whose beautiful demeanour adds warmth and joy to each and every day.  We think this sums up Constance perfectly.

Autumn 1 Week 6

Our star of the week this week is the imaginative... Isla

This week, our star of the week focus has been positive contributions in the classroom.

Since September, Isla has worked hard to offer contributions in class and is someone we can rely on to talk confidently in lessons and support those children on her table.  She has wonderful ideas, that help her to respond to tasks in detail and show a great understanding of the topics she has learnt.  We are delighted with the way she has started Year 5 and look forward to her continued contributions for the rest of the year!

Autumn 1 Week 4

Our star of the week this week is the noble... Nicholas

This week, our star of the week focus has been RE, and we have looked closely at the work the children have done through their Creation unit. 

Nicholas’ work on St Francis of Assisi and his own version of the Canticle of Creation, truly blew us away.

The reflective nature of his writing and the imaginative use of language, clearly shows a love for the subject.  We are very proud of Nicholas and what he has achieved and look forward to seeing more wonderful pieces.

Autumn 1 Week 3

Our star of the week this week is the marvellous... Milka

This week, our star of the week focus is presentation, and we are delighted to give it to Milka. 

Since starting in September, we have been exceptionally impressed with Milka’s handwriting, and it is clear she takes great pride in her work.  Each of her books are presented beautifully and she should be incredibly proud of her work. 

We are very proud of not only Milka’s written work, but also her attitude to everything she does.

Autumn 1 Week 2

Our star of the week this week is the amazing... Aleksander

This week, we have been looking for someone who has shone brightly and started the new academic year with a BANG!  Olek was the obvious choice as he has been enthusiastic and engaged in all the lessons, has worked well with his partner and demonstrated that he has a great attitude towards his learning.

We have been really impressed with Olek and we are delighted to award him the first star of the week for the new academic year!
