Technology is part of everyday life and for most of us, is essential to our lives at home and at work.  At St Rose, we learn vital Computing skills and knowledge as well as ensuring technology is embedded throughout the curriculum.

To ensure that we get the most out of our Computing lessons in school we need to ensure that there is clear progression throughout the year groups and that children build on their knowledge and skills each year in order to progress. We feel this planning scheme allows us to deliver the rich and broad Computing curriculum the children need and equips them with the technological skills needed for later life.

The new Entrust  Planning shows great progression and you can also find a document below which shows the progression of  our pupils schools throughout their time at St Rose.  Please see a copy of our new  Whole School Progression Map Document below- here you can see when each year group covers their different Computing objectives and the Progression Map goes from the start of a child's life at school in EYFS right through to Year 6. This is so that you can see the progress and development children make in Computing every year.
