Our enriched curriculum allows us to develop technological skills using a range of the latest technology: tablets, 3D printer, Virtual Reality Glasses, BeeBots etc.

Our children strive to work hard and experience these topics through a creative and active attitude.

The Wider Curriculum

Curriculum Maps

Our curriculum maps take us on a subject based journey from Nursery through to Year 6. They show how the knowledge and understanding, the learning, of our children develops right across the school.

A good example of this progression from Early Years, through KS1 and into KS2, would be the children’s studies of the human body. In Nursery and Reception, the children begin to look at parts of their bodies, the wrist, their knuckles. By Year 2 children are investigating the digestive system (and healthy eating), the circulatory system and thinking about germs, diseases and preventing illnesses. In Year 6 children study the heart, blood vessels and transporting blood and oxygen around the body; components of human blood and blood pressure and heart rates.

What a learning journey that is.
