Physical Education

Please Make sure your child comes into school in their PE Kit on Mondays. Monday is our PE day this year until further notice. 

Your child should come into school in Black Tracksuit Bottoms, Normal White polo shirt and the school Jumper. 

Spelling Test

Please make sure you are practising spellings with your children ready for them to be tested on a Friday. this is an important aspect of Year One and will ensure good progress is being made into Year 2.

Go read and Numbots

Aside from weekly spellings it is important that you are logging if your children have read their book on go read so we can change these books weekly. Children also have Numbots homework which is set weekly. 

Reports

Reports will go out to parents on the 12th July. Here you will find if your child has passed the Phonics screening test.

Transition day 

Our transition day is Wednesday 3rd July. This is where your child will spend the morning with their new teacher!

Healthy living week

We have healthy living week week beginning 8th July 2024. Our sports day is on Thursday 11th July 2:15-3:15 the children will be able to leave once sports day is finished.

Reading books

Please start to bring in your children's reading book for us to audit ready for September no later than Friday 12th July 2024!
