Star of the Week!

STAR OF THE WEEK!

Every Friday, Miss Plant and I shall choose a child who has been a superstar for the week and they shall be rewarded with Star of the week!

How can you be a star of the week?

There are lots of different ways that your child can be a star of the week, here are a few examples:

  • following our class rules and being kind to one another
  • showing determination in all they do and using their 'can do' attitude towards tricky tasks
  • helping others and supporting one another
  • going above and beyond in their work

PLUS many more!

15.03.24 Our star of the week this week is Charlotte L for her amazing reading skills. Charlotte has impressed us with her reading fluency and confidence. She is a very sophisticated reader and has worked really hard during her assessments especially her reading one! She has a great understanding of comprehending texts and can use the evidence to answer questions which is a great skill! Well done Charlotte!

01.03.24 Our star of the week this week is Mikey for his improvement towards his presentation and handwriting! Mikey has worked hard to keep his writing neat and this has made his work so lovely and has progressed drastically! Mikey has also been working so hard in class so well done Mikey, a well-deserved award!

23.02.24 Our star of the week this week goes to Alex for being compassionate and loving, which follows our Catholic Virtues for this half term! Alex is very kind and caring to all of the Year 6 classmates and teachers and his compassion shows in his hard work and dedication to helping others, especially when he monitors the doors at lunchtime. Well done Alex, keep being you!

02.02.24 The star of the week for this week for their hard work in Active 15 and After School Sports Sessions is Seena. Mr Read chose her for her overall demeanor and performance at Tennis Club! Seena always works hard to be the best version of herself, keep up the great work!

26.01.24 Our star of the week this week is Nicole for being so wonderful and for her hard work in class! Nicole works hard all the time to challenge herself and deepen her learning! Well done for being a superstar Nicole, keep up the great work!

19.01.24 Our star of the week was chosen this week by Mr Read and he chose Charlotte M because she has been wonderful in my Tuesday afternoon Active 15 dance classes. She enjoys dancing and is really superb at it. She and a few others have been assisting Year 6 in learning the Candy Dance, which has not been easy. Continue to dance and make a difference. Congratulations, Charlotte!

15.12.23 Our star of the week this week is Hattie as chosen by her classmates. She was nominated by her classmates for the following reasons...

  • she works very hard and is very grateful for the things she gets
  • she is generous
  • she is a very good friend, and she helps me when I am stuck on my work
  • she works hard in every lesson and is a great friend to everyone

08.12.23 Our star of the week this week is Logan challenging himself in all areas of the curriculum. Logan has been working really hard in all lessons but especially in History for our WW1 topic and in PE with our tennis topic. With everything Logan has been doing, he has been challenging and furthering himself to extend his learning. Well done Logan, keep up the good work!
